Avatar breaks Dark Knight’s 1st-day Blu-ray record

You must love blue skin more than Batmobiles, because James Cameron’s blockbuster just broke another record. Yesterday’s Blu-ray release of Avatar sold 1.5 million copies, outperforming the previous Blu-ray leader The Dark Knight even though it only featured a 2-D version of the 3-D theatrical film, according to The Hollywood Reporter .
